INTRODUCTION
To my father, Phillip A. LaRochelle, who has always had his family’s best interest at heart. My last poem “I Know This Man” should be first, but it is the last. I wrote it because my father has Alzheimer’s, and it implies not only the life of my father, but especially numerous other veterans. Those who have “given all” for all the freedoms we all enjoy, as well as my spouse Yvette D. (Melanson) LaRochelle, who has survived the “horrors of war”, and yet I consider a better person and human being than I.
This is also for all those who may possibly have the understanding or capacity to understand what these poems convey. They do not detract away from believers in Christ. In fact, some tend to focus a little more on those that had no knowledge. We all were once children. We still are. Within humanity itself and this earth’s history, there are just too many unknowns. However, in our day and age and the countless historical facts behind us, leads most to believe that too many documents are not just simply placed as a means to control all of us, but in fact, prove to all of us that these were real occurrences for our benefits. At least for the civilizations that had them, and those that had them not. Quickly, I believe, after Y2K in South America, a small amount of Indians were discovered that had never even seen anyone from the Caucasian race, no matter less having any knowledge of some Jewish deity. I leave you all with these thoughts in the name of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

DEDICATION
In loving memory of Lori A. Melanson
“may the contemptibleness of the law be devoured by its own snares.”

SELF REFLECTION
While standing upon this terrestrial ground
To see the unending universe and hear all the sounds
My mind often wanders into the unknown
To reflect on self and self alone.
This beautiful wonder my soul imagines
How can it be that it all took fashion?
From the size of the micro illumination
To the size of the sun and all its duration.
How can one think that major explosions
Bound the universe in harmonious rotations?
If we are to think that coincidence thrives
Then we have yet to really explore our minds.
To really believe in invisible things
Is a proven notation that reality brings
If life should be a burdening ground
It is only for learning on this temporal mound.
To come to that place when life at last leaves
How sweet it might be to them that believe
Though the cosmos has an unknown source
One can only think it’s invisible, of course.
For why life is lived as if an everyday fashion
And yet on the deathbed a cry for salvation
Even if one does not at first believe
When their soul is free then maybe they’ll see.
Though centuries have passed and the earth many times restored
It will all be disclosed at heaven’s gate and more
For what is a life that will not believe
If in this world we are only self, and yet only self-conceived.
AT THE END OF TIME
As time moves forward and depressed past years
One has stopped time to reflect on tears
And yet in a moment of disgusting rage
To total silence of another age.
As the days and months and years wander by
Generations of screams and all their cries
Who in the end will remember those
Who in the end only themselves and God really know.
On one side of the river yet glistening white
To the other side of dismay and disdainful fright
And in the middle it may almost seem
To be troubled waters that yet still gleam.
While trying to swim to the left or the right
The burdening weight of yet another night
To finally secure to some solid ground
May reach to success of a greater sound.
To finally win the battles at hand
One must first crawl then finally stand
Though tears of remorse can always be heard
In the final end it may sing like a bird.
The struggle at hand is always ahead
For the mere mortal bodies of the children of men
And at the end day when it turns to night
The grave in its shadow is surrounded by light.
The tears and years of depressed days gone by
Will merely be thought of in a blink of an eye
While the future cannot be clearly seen
It works for many whether or not they believe.
If one has not heard then how can one be judged
If no lessons were taught no reason for grudge
Knowledge however, is a gifted weight
That can be used for or against even a Saint.
So merrily, merrily the generations pass
And to astonishing abnormalities the world gasps
But at the end of time and days do part
Judgment ends at the beginning of the Heart.
COUNTLESS BOOKS
While the chimes and rings of days gone by
Life can be sweet and then years just fly
To reflect on life’s learning ground
Comes rushing in like the tidal sound.
To memories of sweet and bitter life brings
To everlasting life all the world sings
In a blink of an eye we both live and die
To finally rest in peace labors gone by.
In the course of a moment we may not think
But life’s daily movements are recorded in sync
Books abound throughout the world
But books in the end are universally ruled.
To noted things of generations gone by
We may might learn not to die
And even though natural life may pass
Through perseverance our soul may last.
To believe in other than worldly things
One can believe in almost anything
If the mind can imagine it the body can do
What is now has been and already through.
Think not that this planet has once been restored
But that over the centuries it has many times more
To live, learn and conquer is a glorious thing
So at the end of the days we know the right thing.
What’s in the Heart is the principle thing
To good or bad is where it may bring
The thoughts and desires of everyone’s heart
Is the everlasting outcome of days do part.
HEAVEN OR HEAVENS
Heaven or Heavens have confounded most men
From the beginning of time until the final end
They seek not to seek where they look the most
The second chapter Genesis told to all the hosts.
The second part Corinthians, or the eighth book
Is a final answer to what they forsook
Paul to the third, so it is told
Of heavenly things that never grow old.
Times of the future, times of the past
Your faith must grow stronger, for His love does last
A world gone crazy, a world gone nuts
Who will save us all from the sands of dust.
Yes, our lives do falter, they wither away
But unless you try faith, you’ll know not today
Don’t be afraid is what He has said
From God the Father, the greatest God head.
The world of spirits is not too far
Every day you drive through it with your car
It’s all around you and in the air
The clouds above you do declare.
The heavens they’ve wept since time begot
To clean Mother Earth’s children from their rot
Life should be happy, life should be fun
Just as little children who hurt no one.
The other side black has great depth
His bondage is cruel, his weeping’s are kept
Don’t be afraid of what he might do
Because your Father in heaven still has you.
KNOW YOURSELF
When the day is through and the night begun
Worries are over and dreams yet to come
The following day has enough troubles alone
And so do the days moving forward yet not alone.
When the self has striven to achieve at hand
Another day blessed to live in the land
Thus moving forward for the years to go by
May help promote health, wealth and wisdom, time flies.
To seek further knowledge must stand the case
Which lies openly to the whole human race
Whatever one believes must live within its grace
To achieve further light beyond this place.
History of the world will not always be known
But it is written in many places, someone must atone.
The celestial realm is a very advanced place
Which comes in many forms of loving grace.
Search for the wisdom that is within your hearts
Of days past learning and paths apart
And when your knowledge has at least somewhat attained
When you come to Know Yourself, hopefully it will not be in vain.
CHILDREN of LIGHT and CHILDREN of DARK
In the twinkling of an eye we both live and die
Of life’s sweet lessons days gone by
For lessons learned either hard or good
Grows into development of why we should.
To judge sweet or bitter one must first taste
To acknowledge the bad is a learning grace
To learn only the good very few have known
But to have both taught the story unfolds.
Laughing and crying is both good and bad
The example at hand of happy or sad.
Peace and War always have their place
Not just amongst the human race.
The Children of light and the Children of dark
What will we become as we embark?
To turn from the bitter when we have all had enough
To eating the honey, the milk and all the good stuff.
The day of reckoning is right down the road
Of what you believe and what you have been told
The law of compensation is always at hand
To determine the outcome of whether or not you stand.
Death does not care at what age you bring
It takes anyone at any age without caring a thing
Love the fact that you once had life
Even if sometimes it may bring strife.
Believe in anything and it slowly unfolds
What now has been and it is very old
And what has been and now belongs
Brings back memories of ancient songs.
Oh, Spirit in heaven please help men
So they may find their way back home again
In your loving mansions of stories told
Never to die and back to a divine home.
God or Gods
So the story starts a very long time ago
Who, and what we are, and where we go
The words of reason seem to have no end
From the beginning of time until the final end.
God or Gods they all have their place
To tell the world of a forgotten face
No recollection of what was before
No memory of who let us enter the door.
Words have many meanings to teach us the way
Down the right road or to fall astray
To do the most common thing
Does not mean we’re doing the most favorable ring.
If one is driven by the rational majority way
It may not be the most desirable way
The majority may say all is free to do
But freedom itself pays a penalty too.
Learn from your faults and become much more
It helps you to unlock and open other doors.
Be steadfast and think far ahead
So your works may come alive and not end up dead.
The thinker may think and the doer do
Which one gets paid when the day is through?
Thinking a lifetime may not accomplish a thing
But thinking and doing may bring the right things.
The lesson at hand may not always unfold
But the actions of things will always be told
A good name a bad name they both go to the grave
But in the life to come only the good will be saved.
For life lived now brings just rewards
Of living bad or good for all the hordes
So live a full life while you have daily breath
And in the end of times you can pass the tests.
For faith is hope of all the unseen
Even though it is all not clearly seen
To try to stay on the rightful path
Do your homework, because everything is math.
REFLECTIONS OF OTHERS
Reflect on where you’ve been, where you are, and eventually where you’ll end up
Life can be many things to everyone, but all drink from a different cup
Life can be sadly bitter, or it can be extremely sweet
The way you approach it all depends on the people that you meet.
We are all equal, so we are all told
But in reality it’s our character that defines each ones individual mold
Class or classes amongst all women and men
To love all people we must try to defend.
While the train moves forward through the world
Billions of opinions unfold through the twirl
If we think so much of ourselves while we’re alive
Then why not think of ourselves for when we shall die.
Is it only in that moment of our last and final breath
That then and only then, we think of God and our death?
If religion was practiced as an everyday thing
Yet, so is our work, and food and yet everything.
Do not let your life pass without being very grateful
Or you may end up dying being very hateful.
Live your life daily as if it were your last
Because as the sun goes down it has already burned the grass.
Death does not care at what age it brings
But to live life goodly may bring quality things
So as you live your life each and every day
At least once and awhile give a little praise.
Today is here and tomorrow may come
But tomorrow isn’t promised nor the days, weeks or months yet to come
Learn to love one another and the stranger too
Because it may be that stranger that helps you through.
ALPHA AND OMEGA
When the Earth, Sun, and Stars were made by the Son of Man
All the kingdoms of heaven and earth were glad to stand
The endless count of all the souls of the children of men
Were always extremely happy from the beginning until the final end.
Alpha and Omega has His rightful place
As to designate what will always happen in both time and space
We all are the children of everything unknown
To leave that place and come here momentarily, which we call our home.
To go back to the very last place is yet unseen
Unless one is wise and learned and hopefully clean
We all are also Alpha’s and Omega’s of time and space
Our inner most soul however, does not quite remember that place.
From the beginning to the end we were always told
That from heavenly wells arose our immortal and invisible souls
Our Father in heaven is the most powerful thing
To bring about our ruin, or to a more glorious thing.
We live and learn and yet we still shall die
Not remembering the beginning or end or even why
He says bare your cross as I have too
Each one of us individually as life’s lot gave us through.
If He carried His cross until the bitter end
Even though we are not gods, can we not comprehend?
That we too have our own paths to lead
To everlasting life and all the earth’s families.
Choose your path wisely and you might escape
The never-ending doom of life’s wicked mistakes
We all came into this world alone not knowing a thing
We all go out the same not knowing what it will bring.
But if we learn from our wrongs and stay on the right trail
Hopefully in the end, we might not cry and end up in wail
Doing the best thing is always what a parent will teach
Whether we listen or learn hard is what it will reap.
Everyone’s mission is a defined and complicated thing
To do or die and bring the right things
So at the end of time we may finally stand
Living everlasting life with our souls saved at His hand.
THE TWO EDGE SWORD
A word of warning is all I can provide
So you can help yourself in a world that will slowly die
What does it matter if you worry to death
It will not help you either way when you take your last breath.
Look towards the future with some kind of hope
And try to believe in something good in order to cope
Teach your children the best that you can
Because in the end it may give them an uplifted hand.
The Two Edge Sword has a mysterious way
The one on the right edge of love, mercy and a compassionate way
The other side left is a horrible thing
Of justice and vengeance and miserable things.
The balance line that lies between both ways
May hopefully keep you on the straight and narrow way
Stick to what you believe if it is just and true
So when the season comes your fruit will sustain you.
To believe in nothing is so very sad
But to have a better hope will make you glad
Yes sometimes you may feel hope is lost
But in all reality that hopelessness finished on The Cross.
While the negative Law of Karma most say is true
It’s also very positive on the other side too
Just as Yin and Yang have their two ways
The same applies to people in their good or bad ways.
You never really know who is a lie or truth
Use your own common sense to dig your way through
The laws of men and God are both endless, this is fact
However, the wisdom of men in this world will not help you back.
While numerous laws are good for all of us to be strong
There are countless others that do not help and do not belong
If you become a law unto yourself and do not consider any at all
You may be faced in life and death with your greatest fall.
THE THREE PARTS
Admitting your guilt and faults are the very first things
To your loved ones, your friends, and last to your Heavenly King
Because if we cannot confess to those we see face to face
Our belief in one above is vainly placed.
The 3 parts of our being came forth in birth
The other 3 parts we need for when we depart this earth
Faith and repentance will help show us the way
The 3rd part water to wash all the filth of conscience away.
A Child is innocent this is a fact
We all were children and must find our way back
Everyone’s circumstances are vastly placed
Be careful how you judge it may slap you in the face.
If you forgive not and show not mercy her way
The same exact standards will be thrown your way
Help who you can and do it with unfeigned love
Because this is the true way in the heavens above.
Do you think He did this all for Himself
Or, for all our benefits, our families, and humanity itself?
And yet for our evils He still paved the way
For us to live eternally and not rot in our graves.
Countless civilizations have never heard one word
Yet it is written: “those without law, perish outside the herds”
This however, is not truth at all
Because those that heard not, have the least judgment of all.
Is one more accountable for knowing the laws
Or those that never knew the will of Him, their conscience not flawed?
Ignorance too can maybe be a good thing
But not in our day and age of all the knowledge we bring.
Who in the end then can be considered not to blame?
Except little children, who have no shame.
Therefore, retreat from those people or things you know which is wrong
Because when your life passes, they cannot stand for themselves or defend your wrongs.
COME UNTO ME
Come unto me so your soul may rest
So I may forgive you and finally bless
The day of your salvation is just past the road
Of what you’ve been taught and what you’ve been told.
Come unto me and lay your past deeds behind
Pining not in your wrongs staying totally blind
My yoke is easy if life isn’t hard enough
Learn of me softly and taste the good stuff.
Come unto me and finally find rest
For I love you so deeply and I wish to bless
Learn to do well and forsake the wrong
So you may save yourself and sing happier songs.
Come unto me and be not afraid
For your life goes quickly with your grave in the shade
How many times have I called you before
How many times have I knocked on your door?
Is love so hard and yet bad is true
How many times have I called out to you?
Do I take pleasure that you shall wail and cry
Or that I lift you up and you will not cry?
Be not afraid of thy troubled past
For I desire mercy and my love will last
For the wicked will say thy desires are vain
But unless they turn they will cry out again.
Come unto me for your heart is broke
I will lighten the load and you take of my yoke
Your yoke of bondage is like hardened cold steel
My yoke of bondage makes a wounded soul heal.
I KNOW THIS MAN
I know a man who has been very charitable…all his life
I know a man who lost everything…up to and including his wife
I know the pen indeed, is mightier than the sword
I know this man did his best, plus 1,000 percent times more.
I know this man in his day, I could never compete
I know this man right now, I cannot fill his feet
I know this man right now, I try to love so much more
I know this man right now, who’s losing reality and more
I know this man and so do all of you
I know this man he gave his all for me and you
I know this man who was both a father and a son
I know this man he is you and me yet everyone.
I know this man he has fought in every single war
I know this man he is you and me and yet so much more
I know this man he is in all our children’s blood
I know this man he has also had countless daughters and sons.
I know this man who works all through his days
I know this man could keep all his money, but now just pays, pays, pays
I know this man struggles hard for everything he has
I know this man’s possessions are considered nothing…it’s very very sad.
I know this man must bow down to every king and throne
I know this man’s money fills every pocket unknown
I know this man and men who used the pen for a beautiful thing
I know this man and men up until now, think is a lost and crazy thing.
I know this man and his troubles, we all have had the same
I know this man’s education had nothing to do with the blame
I know this man’s hundreds…or thousands….or even more
Are now drastically reduced to working more and even more.
I know this man who had beautiful daughters who worked hard too
I know this man’s daughters fought just as much as me and him and you
I know this man who asked nothing, but worked all his life
I know this man has lived in every single place with constant strife.
I know this man in the woods, he slowly becomes a beast
Because this man’s nation deprived him of his rightful feast
I know you all know this man because he;s your brother and father too
Because this man gave up everything for me and all of you.
I know this man’s heart, it quietly and silently cries
I know why it does, his mind and heart slowly dies
I know this man cries out, as he cried coming in
I know this man’s mind, because he is becoming a child again.
1 CORINTHIANS
CHAPTER 13
VERSES 13
APOSTLE PAUL #13
“FOR CHARITY BELIEVES ALL THINGS, HOPES ALL THINGS, AND ENDURES ALL THINGS…EVERYTHING SHALL FAIL…BUT, CHARITY NEVER FAILS…NOW THESE 3 THINGS REMAIN…FAITH, HOPE, AND CHARITY…
CHARITY HOWEVER, IS THE GREATEST OF ALL”
IN THIS BOOK, 1 CORINTHIANS, WITH ITS CHAPTER AND VERSES,
MAY POSSIBLY HELP ALL OF US TO COMPREHEND THAT IN THE END THE ONLY TRUTHFUL ASPECT FOR US ALL INVIDUALLY WILL BE THE QUALITY OF “UNFEIGNED LOVE” THAT WILL LAST ETERNALLY, OR BASICALLY INFINITELY.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
AMEN!
